Messiah Posters for Self-Study! / Rick McNally, August 2025

Here are two study posters I worked up a few years ago at Christmastime to encourage people to study the Old Testament passages that describe what the expected Messiah would be like. Images and PDF below.

Here we find a few select passages from Isaiah, some that talk about the Faithful Servant that God will rise up since the nation of Israel had not served faithfully. God would provide his own Servant. Secondly, a specific passage about the suffering of this Servant.

I would encourage you to print these out and take some time to study them. The subject matter is glorious and terrible. This would be time well spent by you. Look up the cross references.

Tip: try downloading the Logos Bible Software mobile app, find the “reference scanner” and use it to take a picture of this document. This should provide a list of all the references mentioned in a super-easy fashion. Hope it works!
