New Testament Survey / July 16, 6-8pm / an overview of the New Testament, the events, the people, the books. How they fit together and how to get the most out of it’s helpful pages.

The Danger of Bible Study / August 20, 6-8pm / there is danger in the puffing up with information / throughout the OT and the NT there are many, many examples of people who use their “knowledge” or their “position” to do people damage / this is going on today / This workshop will be 1/2 examination of some of these passages and 1/2 discussion with some people who have experienced these things firsthand.

  • How does the Bible describe “spiritual” or “church” abuse?
  • How is it defined in today’s setting?
  • What are some of the warning signs of abuse?
  • What are the results or effects of such things on people?
  • How do we confront it or prevent it?
