The Danger of Bible Study / August 20, 6-8pm / there is danger in the puffing up with information / throughout the OT and the NT there are many, many examples of people who use their “knowledge” or their “position” to do people damage / this is going on today / This workshop will be 1/2 examination of some of these passages and 1/2 discussion with some people who have experienced these things firsthand.

• How does the Bible describe “spiritual” or “church” abuse?
• How is it defined in today’s setting?
• What are some of the warning signs of abuse?
• What are the results or effects of such things on people?
• How do we confront it or prevent it?
